Did Codex or Claude reset today?
Look for a row dated today in the table. If there is one, a reset happened, and the row links the official post. For Codex, check the type: a usage reset clears your usage right away, while a banked reset is credited to your account and only takes effect when you use it on the usage page. No row today means no announcement has been recorded here yet. Your own reset times are the ones shown in your account.
What does "reset" mean on this site?
Three different things get called a reset. 1) Your own schedule: the 5-hour limit and the weekly limit in your account reset on their own timing. That is personal, nobody announces it, and this site does not record it. 2) A banked reset (once called a reset card): a one-time clear credited to your account that only takes effect when you use it. 3) An announced reset: OpenAI or Anthropic clears usage for a whole group of users at once. This site records the last two, each with its original post.
What is the difference between a usage reset and a banked reset?
A usage reset applies directly: the limits of the users covered by the announcement clear at once. A banked reset (once called a reset card) is credited to an eligible account and takes effect only when you use it.
How do I check my usage limit and reset time?
Codex: open chatgpt.com/codex/settings/usage, or type /status in the Codex CLI. Claude: open Settings › Usage on claude.ai, or type /usage in Claude Code. They show how much you have used and when it resets. An announced reset on this site is an extra clear on top of that schedule.
How do I get notified when Codex or Claude resets?
In the "Remind me" panel on this page you can enable browser alerts for the products you follow, join the Telegram group, add a Slack or Discord webhook, or use the JSON API for your own bot. Nothing is sent except reset announcements.
How often do resets happen, and when is the next one?
There is no fixed schedule. The next estimate is based on recent records and time already waited; with limited history it is only a rough estimate. The date may change; it is not an official schedule or your personal usage reset time. Follow announcements from OpenAI.
