How Google uses data from partner sites

Who we are

whenreset is an independent site that tracks officially announced Codex and Claude usage resets and publishes related guides. It is not affiliated with OpenAI or Anthropic. For privacy requests, please use the details on our About & contact page.

Data and purposes

We store your chosen language, time zone, appearance and privacy preference in your browser. Hosting and security services process technical request data such as IP addresses and browser details to deliver and protect the site. Email alerts are paused and new email subscriptions are not accepted. Any existing email subscription records remain available for unsubscribe or deletion. For bot subscriptions we store the webhook URL, optional signing secret, platform, language and delivery status. Browser alerts store a push endpoint, encryption keys, language, selected products, subscription time and delivery status. These details are used to provide the alerts you request.

Optional analytics

Only with your consent, Google Analytics receives page URLs, usage events and device/browser information and uses identifiers to measure site usage. You can refuse or withdraw on the Cookie policy page. Withdrawal stops subsequent collection on this browser; it does not erase information already processed.

Service providers and international processing

Cloudflare hosts and protects the site and provides Turnstile on subscription forms. Browser push services (such as Apple, Google or Mozilla) deliver encrypted notifications to your device. Google processes analytics only after consent. A bot platform receives messages when you subscribe its webhook. These providers may process data outside your country under their own privacy terms. External links and community services have their own policies.

Retention and deletion

Your consent choice expires after 180 days. Language and time-zone cookies last up to one year; local preferences remain until you clear them. Unsubscribing removes your email subscription record; cancelling a bot subscription removes its record. Turning off browser alerts removes the subscription and pending delivery records; push delivery records otherwise expire within 24 hours of the event. Unconfirmed email subscriptions are also retained; contact us to request deletion. Service providers retain logs and backups according to their own retention settings.

Your choices and rights

We rely on consent for optional analytics, your requested service for subscriptions, and legitimate interests in delivering and securing the site for necessary technical processing. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time and complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us through About & contact; do not post personal details or webhook secrets publicly.
